You can download the app from Google Playstore or Apple app store to your mobile devices.

It’s simple to get started. user is on boarded within 3 minutesSimply follow the prompts to setup your VPD account. You will be required to use your bank verification number (BVN). In case you don’t remember it, you will get USSD shortcode to assist you retrieve it. The universal code to check BVN *565*0# can be used for Nigerian mobile operators, which include MTN, 9mobile, Airtel, and Glo)To complete your registration, you will choose a username and password which you will have to type in each time you access your account. Passwords must be at least 8 characters and have a combination of letters, special characters and numbers ( Upper case, Lower Case, Special character and Number).

You will be asked few questions to verify your actual identity. This is one of the ways we are able to confirm you are who you say you are. We asked questions that someone apart from you will not be able to easily provide answers to. That way, intruders may not be able to use your identity to commit theft neither would they be able to gain access, considering the fact it's a mobile financial app

Please be aware that the email verification process is done after you have successfully on boarded via the activation link sent to your registered mail box.For the BVN verification, the entered details must be a Valid BVN number that exist and its corresponding details (Full name and Date of birth) must tally with the actual BVN details supplied.

If your phone has been stolen or lost, call the SUPPORT Team : +2348036314018 so that we can place a restriction on your mobile app account pending the time you will get another phone to set-up the app.

Alternatively, you can log into your VPD account with another phone and ensure you are able to answer the security question set while registering. When a user successfully logs in to another phone, he/she is automatically get logged out from the previous phone.

You can make put money into your VPD account from any Nigerian bank through card or bank transfer with (USSD or banking app transfer).

Once a transaction has been initiated on the VPD, it cannot be canceled from the user’s end. You are required to contact our support team for their necessary action.

There is no charge implication or cost neither from the bank nor us for the use of BVN on VPD.

A sub account is a segregated account nested under a main wallet account. Each sub account can be created for each currency type (USD, EUR and GBP). N:B Please note that a payment transaction cannot be done using with a sub-account.

Funds can be transferred from the main wallet account to any sub-account created likewise from the sub-account to the main wallet account and the necessary conversion would be done appropriately.

Recurring payments, also known as AutoPay, is a service that allows you setup automatic payment orders at an interval set by you. Funds will be automatically debited from your wallet account according to the options you have set.

In simple steps, to enable the recurring payment function,

  • Select the Menu (+) button:
  • Click on the “Recurring Payment” option, then follow the steps

Cashback is a bonus for every payment transaction you make on the app. There is 3% cash bonus for every payment transaction that gets remitted into your cashback account. on payments. NB:

  • Cashback is not obtained on all transaction. E.g bank transfer is a transaction with no cashback
  • Also, in future cashback option for each service transaction may vary or be removed as it will be reviewed from time to time.
  • Lastly, kindly note that the funds in cashback account is available for use after 90 days for each cashback bonus received

The system has been configured for appropriate BVN validation. The registered Date of Birth must correspond with the submitted BVN. We advise you to recheck and ensure you enter the valid BVN together with its corresponding registration details so as to complete the sign-up process.

You can generate payment link to request payment from friends and families. Payment link can be sent in multiple ways: social media channels like WhatsApp, Facebook or even email and SMS.

Inshort steps, to create a payment link,

  • Select the Menu (+) button
  • Click on the Request option, then follow the steps

Please click on forgot password on the login page, you will be required to enter your account username, the an OTP is sent to the registered email address. You will be required to enter the received OTP to proceed to your account password reset.

Registration details can be edited, updated and modified on the app , kindly tap on the “more” button then choose the the option to “Edit profile”, it will take you to where you can update your details. However, please be informed that the following listed information can neither be changed nor edited.

  • Registered phone number
  • Registered email address
  • Bank verification number (BVN)
  • Full name

Notifications can be controlled from the app dashboard, kindly tap on the “More” button then choose the “Preferences” option, you will select “Notifications” option, it will take to the page where you can enable or disable notifications.

Yes, there are funding limits set by our Risk & Compliance Unit, it may vary from time to time depending on the existing operation. However, for transfers to other VPD users, there is no minimum amount.
